Beki's Journal

Hi all,  I know I said I couldn't come on the journal for a while, because I was going on holday, but guess what??  I've pinched my dad's laptop, so I  thought I'd come on while I had the chance to see what you are all up to and to update my journal on the latest news of my holiday!

Much better than a post card except there are no photos - but never mind!

So far holiday is fab!  Went into Manchester (City Centre) with me ex - yep I know what you're thinking but we are still good friends and keep in touch!  Made the mass mistake of going clothe's shopping spent too much money but have added a few none black items to my mostly black wardrobe!

Came to sunny Wales today, and guess what its sunny - yippeee!  The sun has arrived just for me!

Just a quick note to say Hi to all my friends in the wiccan and Discworld communities and to anyone else out there who knows me.  

I am going on holiday tomorrow (Only to Wales, but at least it gets me out of ' Not so Sunny' Stockport for the rest of the week!)  But because of this I will be off line until at least Monday.  I'm looking foreward to getting away for a few days and to catch up with a few friends that I haven't seen for a while.  

Hope you all have a fab rest of the week and a great weekend what ever you are doing.

It's Friday again, which means here comes the weekend
- Yippeee!

I don't have any goss for you all, but I thought I would come on and update my page and say hi to anyone that's out there!

Work wise - I am being a bit of a part timer in May, I have only been in work for two days this week and am only coming in for two days next week, and then the following two weeks I only have to work 4 days, out of the usual 5 a week!  
The only problem about being away from work, (other than having to come back!)  Is that I am unable to surf the web email or update my journal, as I still don't have access to the world wide web at home.  This is yet to come when I have enough surplus funds to purchase a new computer!
The good news is I am going to stay with my dad for a few days in wales, next week, so I could always pinch his lap top!

The Vale (My football team) managed to finish the season off with a win, and our neighbors and rivals down the road failed to get in the playoffs - bad for them - good for us!, sorry to any Stoke fans out there!

Anyway there it is more boring rambles of a bored but quite happy wiccan, at least I am up to date for the weekend!

PS Anyone out there have any ideas what yo by a 28yr old 'little' (In age not size, he's quite a bit taller than me) brother that has already got it all and doeasn't need anything else - apparently,  for his birthday - have to show willing and get him something, and if I don't come up with any ideas soon it will be the usual boring aftershave etc!

Wohoo the working part of the day for Thursday is nearly over - currently got about 20 mins to go ish!  Which means it's nearly Friday and the weekend is nearly upon us!  And for those of us that only work Monday to Friday this is an especially good thing!

I have particularly happy as I have just booked my membership and reserved my hotel room for the Discworld convention next year and I can't wait, this now means that I will be wishing the next 16 months away but hey!

I do have the Discworld Jamboree to look forward to this year so its not all bad!!

Can't wait for the mad loony planning when it all starts and the Discworld guilds kick off!  It all got a wee bit mad last year but really enjoyed it and thought it really added to the fun, lets hope its just as good this year!

I wanted to say a quick Good Luck to Bruce (Chairman)  I am sure you have already been busy planning, and will get busier and busier as the time grows nearer so if there is anything I can do to help just shout and if I can do it I will! 
I have already volunteered my self on the application form for membership, plus I volunteered my flat mate and mum on their behalf He he!

One more day to the weekend looks like it's gonna be a good one weather wise so I'll be on the old roof terrace supping the beverage they call beer and probably bbq-ing it!!!!!

Well I have now got full communications - yippeee!

An engineer came round yesterday to up load the software update manually, so finger's crossed it will all work, smoothly!

I'm pretty sure these companies either don't listen to you, or cannot tell the time - We arranged for the engineer to come round between 5&8pm, I still had to take time off work so that I was home for 5pm so still an inconvenience.
I was informed by the lady who owns the shop that we live over that the engineer firstly  came mid morning??????  The engineer then phoned me at 4.30pm? and turned up at 4.45????  Luckily I was in fact home to let him in this time and hopefully we wont be needing his services again!

I now have a BT engineer coming round this morning to set up the new line (Ready for my home broadband) so fingers crossed he/she turns up when they are supposed to!!!!!

Anyway on a happier note it...........s Friday so the weekend is almost upon us!!!!

I have borrowed this thread from my sister 'bekithewitch' and feel it needs further investigation!

Anyone else out there suffering with communication problems that's making you want to pull your hair out??!!??

I am currently experiencing a complete and utter lack of communication overload!!!  Surprised I have any hair left!

Human communications have also gone over board never mind the total lack of technology .  My entire media and communications at home have decided to fly off to another planet for a few weeks, so I am left with a Freeview TV (When that works) and my mobile to cumminicate with.  Thankfuly the computers here at work are working for now.   Although here is where most of the hair pulling has happened! - Thankfuly it is Friday tomorrow so only a day and a half to go till the weekend! Yeeeah!
 
I even had to go the pub last night to watch the football.  Hardship that it was  (Cough Cough)

 I managed to get to my chosen drinking hole, and order my food before Kick Off.  Shame the player's only turned up and played half (the second half that is) the match and even then it just wasn't good enough!  
The high light of the evening was my Vegi Cottage Pie - Hats off to the cook at the Phoenix in Hazel Grove!

This is my first posting, so forgive me if it seems strange or goes a bit wonky.  I am also badly hungover as it was my flat mates birthday last night and I had way too much shampers for a work night!!!

I haven't even had a chance to sort my profile out properly yet, but I just had to say that I think I have a bit of a double out there!
just seen a journal for 'bekithewitch' "a mad pagan"  I am also a mad pagan and my name is 'Beki' oh yes spelt that way too!

I am at work so don't have too much time to write and update this journal or my profile and page but just had to put it out there!
